West Palm Beach, Florida – Part 1

In February, we broke away from the Oregon rain and took a trip to West Palm Beach, Florida for Etai’s first solo show “Colors of Sound” at Habatat Galleries. He made six beautiful full-scale instruments and it felt so good to see people react to his work in-person. He really pushed himself on this body of work during our first few months living in Oregon, so we breathed a real real sigh of relief to finally see it all displayed on pedestals under bright lights with a room full of art lovers.

Aside from the show opening, Etai, his Mom Daphna and I spent the weekend walking up and down the beaches, eating good food, and meeting Bob Sagat (to name a few things).  Here’s part one of the film photos I took during the trip! More to come.
